Guide TD650LS Thermal Monocular with LRF

The Guide TD650LS Thermal Monocular with LRF combines high-resolution thermal imaging, extended detection capability and integrated laser rangefinding in a powerful handheld platform designed for longer-range observation.

Featuring a 640×512 12μm thermal detector with 15mK NETD thermal sensitivity, the TD650LS is paired with a 50mm objective lens to provide detailed thermal imagery and an impressive detection range of up to 2600 metres.

An integrated 1200m laser rangefinder (LRF) provides accurate distance measurement directly through the monocular, while the 2.91×–23.28× magnification range provides considerable flexibility when observing subjects at distance.

Guide's ApexVision S1 image processing technology, a high-resolution 1440×1080 AMOLED display, up to 10 hours of battery operation, Wi-Fi connectivity and IP67 protection complete a feature-rich thermal monocular designed for hunting, wildlife observation, property monitoring, search and rescue and demanding outdoor applications.

ApexVision S1 Image Processing

The TD650LS incorporates Guide's ApexVision S1 image processing architecture, designed to enhance thermal image clarity, detail and overall viewing performance.

Advanced image processing works alongside the high-resolution 640×512 detector to improve image definition and provide smooth thermal imagery across varying environmental conditions.

This combination is particularly useful when observing at longer distances, where retaining thermal detail and target definition becomes increasingly important.

High-Resolution 640×512 12μm Thermal Sensor

At the heart of the Guide TD650LS is a 640×512 thermal detector with a 12μm pixel pitch.

The high-resolution sensor provides increased detail across the thermal image, helping users distinguish subjects and surrounding terrain with greater definition.

Combined with 15mK NETD thermal sensitivity, the TD650LS is capable of detecting subtle temperature differences within a scene, helping maintain useful image detail in challenging weather and low-contrast conditions.

A 50Hz frame rate provides smooth imagery while scanning terrain or following moving subjects.

50mm Lens & 2600m Detection Range

A major feature of the TD650LS is its 50mm objective lens, designed to provide strong longer-range thermal observation.

Combined with the 640×512 thermal detector, the optical system provides a stated detection range of up to 2600 metres, making the TD650LS particularly well suited to scanning large properties, open terrain and other environments where extended detection capability is important.

The larger objective lens and high-resolution sensor provide a strong combination of detection distance and image detail.

2.91×–23.28× Magnification

The Guide TD650LS provides 2.91× base magnification, giving users a closer initial view when observing distant heat signatures.

Magnification extends up to 23.28×, providing additional flexibility when examining detected subjects at greater distances.

Combined with its 50mm lens and high-resolution thermal detector, this makes the TD650LS particularly suited to users who prioritise longer-range observation over an extremely wide field of view.

Integrated 1200m Laser Rangefinder

The TD650LS features an integrated laser rangefinder capable of measuring distances out to 1200 metres.

By combining thermal observation and ranging within a single handheld device, users can locate a heat signature and obtain distance information without switching to a separate rangefinder.

This is particularly useful when judging distances across open terrain, where accurately estimating range visually can be difficult in darkness or low-visibility conditions.

Ambidextrous One-Handed Design

The TD650LS uses a symmetrical, ambidextrous housing, providing comfortable operation for both left- and right-handed users.

Its ergonomic control layout allows commonly used functions to be accessed with one hand while maintaining a secure and natural grip on the monocular.

Fingertip Focus Control

A compact focusing roller allows focus to be adjusted quickly and precisely using a simple finger movement.

This makes it easier to fine-tune image focus while maintaining grip on the monocular, particularly when transitioning between subjects at different distances.

1440×1080 AMOLED Display

The Guide TD650LS features a large 0.49-inch 1440×1080 AMOLED display, providing a high-resolution view of the thermal image.

The display complements the 640×512 thermal detector and ApexVision processing system, providing a detailed viewing experience during both short and extended observation sessions.

Multiple thermal palettes are available, including White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot and Sepia, allowing users to select the image presentation best suited to the environment and their viewing preference.

A -6 to +6 diopter adjustment provides additional flexibility for individual users.

Up to 10 Hours Battery Runtime

The TD650LS is powered by a single replaceable 18650 rechargeable battery, providing up to 10 hours of operating time.

The replaceable battery design allows compatible spare batteries to be carried for extended periods away from a charging source.

The monocular also supports USB-C external power, providing another convenient option for longer observation sessions.

Video, Audio & Wi-Fi Connectivity

The Guide TD650LS supports video and audio recording, allowing thermal observations to be captured directly through the monocular.

Built-in Wi-Fi hotspot functionality provides wireless connectivity with compatible external devices for supported viewing, sharing and device functions.

IP67 Weather Protection

With an IP67 protection rating, the TD650LS is designed to withstand the dust, moisture and changing weather conditions commonly encountered during outdoor use.

The monocular has a specified operating temperature range of -20°C to 50°C, providing versatility across a broad range of environments.
