Guide TN650MS Multispectral Thermal Binoculars
Guide TN650MS Multispectral Thermal Binoculars
The Guide TN650MS Multispectral Thermal Binoculars combine high-resolution thermal imaging, 4K digital night vision and intelligent multispectral viewing in a rugged binocular-style platform designed for demanding observation in day, night and low-visibility conditions.
Featuring a 640×512 12μm thermal detector with 15mK NETD thermal sensitivity alongside a 3840×2160 low-light CMOS sensor, the TN650MS allows users to switch between thermal imaging, digital night vision and multispectral viewing modes for greater situational awareness across changing environments.
The thermal channel uses a 50mm F1.0 objective lens and provides detection out to 2600 metres, while the digital channel incorporates a 70mm F1.8 lens with detection capability out to approximately 950 metres.
An integrated 1500m laser rangefinder, GPS, digital compass and gyroscope provide additional ranging and positioning capability, while Guide's ApexVision S1 architecture, high-resolution 1920×1080 AMOLED display, dual-battery system and dual-band Wi-Fi complete a versatile observation platform for hunting, wildlife observation, property monitoring, search and rescue and professional outdoor use.
ApexVision S1 Image Processing
The TN650MS features Guide's ApexVision S1 image processing architecture, designed to enhance image clarity, detail and overall viewing performance.
Advanced processing works across the thermal imaging system to improve definition, contrast and smoothness, helping users distinguish subjects and surrounding terrain in challenging environmental conditions.
Combined with the TN650MS's dual-sensor architecture, the system provides a flexible viewing platform capable of adapting to darkness, low light and difficult weather conditions.
640×512 12μm Thermal Sensor
At the heart of the thermal imaging system is a 640×512 detector with a 12μm pixel pitch.
The high-resolution thermal sensor provides detailed imaging across the scene, while 15mK NETD thermal sensitivity allows subtle temperature differences to be detected even when environmental conditions reduce natural thermal contrast.
A 50Hz refresh rate provides smooth imagery when scanning terrain or following moving subjects.
4K Digital Low-Light Sensor
Alongside its thermal detector, the TN650MS incorporates a 3840×2160 4K low-light CMOS sensor.
This dedicated digital imaging channel provides detailed visible-light and low-light observation, giving users an alternative to thermal imaging when greater visual detail, colour information or scene recognition is required.
The digital system uses a 70mm F1.8 objective lens and provides a stated detection range of up to approximately 950 metres.
Thermal, Digital & Multispectral Viewing
The dual-sensor design allows the TN650MS to operate across thermal, digital and combined multispectral viewing modes.
Thermal imaging excels at detecting heat signatures in darkness and difficult visibility, while the digital channel provides greater visible detail when sufficient light is available.
Combining these technologies within one device allows users to select the viewing mode best suited to the conditions rather than relying on a single imaging system.
50mm F1.0 Thermal Lens & 2600m Detection
The thermal channel features a 50mm F1.0 objective lens, designed for longer-range thermal observation.
Paired with the 640×512 sensor, the system provides a stated thermal detection range of up to 2600 metres.
The 3.9× base thermal magnification provides a useful balance between field of view and detail, with magnification extending up to 31.2× when closer examination of distant heat signatures is required.
70mm F1.8 Digital Lens
The digital imaging channel incorporates a 70mm F1.8 lens, providing strong longer-distance performance for visible and low-light observation.
Digital magnification ranges from 2.6× to 20.8×, allowing users to scan and inspect subjects while using the high-resolution 4K sensor.
The digital field of view measures approximately 5.9° × 3.5°.
Integrated 1500m Laser Rangefinder
A built-in laser rangefinder provides distance measurement out to 1500 metres, allowing users to determine the range to an observed subject directly through the binoculars.
Integrating ranging with both thermal and digital observation eliminates the need to carry a separate handheld rangefinder when scanning terrain or assessing distant subjects.
This can be especially useful during night-time and low-visibility observation, where estimating distance visually can be difficult.
GPS, Digital Compass & Gyroscope
The TN650MS incorporates GPS, a digital compass and gyroscope, adding positioning and orientation capabilities alongside thermal imaging and laser rangefinding.
These integrated sensors provide useful environmental and directional information during navigation and extended field observation.
1920×1080 AMOLED Display
The Guide TN650MS features a high-resolution 0.49-inch 1920×1080 AMOLED display, providing a detailed viewing experience across both thermal and digital imaging modes.
Thermal palette options include White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot and Sepia.
The digital imaging system provides Day, Night and Low-Light modes, allowing the display to be adapted to changing lighting conditions.
A wide -6D to +6D diopter adjustment provides additional flexibility for individual users.
One-Handed Controls & Intuitive Operation
The TN650MS uses multi-function rotary controls and customisable buttons designed to simplify operation in the field.
Users can scroll through settings and confirm selections using the control interface without navigating complicated button layouts.
The quiet control system is also designed to minimise unnecessary noise during observation.
Dual-Battery System
The TN650MS combines an internal rechargeable battery with a replaceable 18650 battery, providing a flexible power system for extended outdoor use.
The system delivers up to 5 hours of operating time, while the replaceable external battery allows compatible spares to be carried for longer observation sessions.
USB-C power support provides an additional option when an external power source is available.
Photo, Video & Audio Recording
The Guide TN650MS supports photo capture, video recording and audio recording, allowing observations to be documented directly through the binoculars.
This provides a convenient way to capture thermal and digital imagery without requiring a separate recording device.
Dual-Band Wi-Fi Connectivity
Built-in 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity allows the TN650MS to communicate wirelessly with compatible external devices.
This provides access to supported wireless functionality such as image transmission, sharing and device connectivity while in the field.
IP67 Weather Protection
With an IP67 protection rating, the TN650MS is designed for use in demanding outdoor environments where exposure to dust, moisture and changing weather conditions may occur.
Its specified operating temperature range of -20°C to 50°C provides versatility across a broad range of climates and field conditions.
