Guide TD635LS Thermal Monocular with LRF
Guide TD635LS Thermal Monocular with LRF
The Guide TD635LS Thermal Monocular with LRF combines a high-resolution 640×512 thermal sensor, integrated laser rangefinder and Guide's ApexVision S1 image processing technology in a compact handheld platform designed for detailed thermal observation.
At its core is a 640×512 12μm thermal detector with 15mK NETD thermal sensitivity, paired with a 35mm objective lens and a detection range of up to 1800 metres. This combination provides detailed thermal imagery and strong detection performance across a wide range of environmental conditions.
An integrated 1200m laser rangefinder (LRF) provides accurate distance measurement directly through the monocular, while a high-resolution 1440×1080 AMOLED display, 50Hz refresh rate and magnification range of 2.03×–16.24× provide a detailed and adaptable viewing experience.
With up to 10 hours of battery operation, video and audio recording, Wi-Fi connectivity and IP67 protection, the TD635LS is a versatile thermal monocular for hunting, wildlife observation, property monitoring, search and rescue and demanding outdoor applications.
ApexVision S1 Image Processing
The TD635LS incorporates Guide's ApexVision S1 image processing architecture, developed to improve thermal image clarity, detail and overall viewing performance.
Advanced image processing works alongside the high-resolution thermal detector to provide smooth, detailed imagery and improved definition of heat signatures and surrounding terrain.
This combination is particularly valuable when observing at longer distances or in environmental conditions where thermal contrast may be reduced.
High-Resolution 640×512 12μm Thermal Sensor
At the heart of the Guide TD635LS is a 640×512 thermal detector with a 12μm pixel pitch.
The higher sensor resolution provides increased thermal detail across the image, helping users observe subjects and surrounding terrain with greater definition.
Combined with 15mK NETD thermal sensitivity, the TD635LS can distinguish subtle temperature differences within a scene, helping maintain image quality in challenging weather and low-contrast conditions.
A 50Hz frame rate provides smooth thermal imagery while scanning terrain or following moving subjects.
35mm Lens & 1800m Detection Range
The TD635LS features a 35mm objective lens paired with its 640×512 thermal detector.
This optical configuration provides a strong balance between field of view, image detail and longer-distance observation, with a stated detection range of up to 1800 metres.
The 2.03× base magnification provides a useful viewing area for scanning, while magnification extending up to 16.24× allows users to examine detected heat signatures in greater detail.
Integrated 1200m Laser Rangefinder
The built-in laser rangefinder provides distance measurement out to 1200 metres, eliminating the need to carry and operate a separate handheld rangefinder.
Integrating the LRF directly into the monocular allows a thermal signature to be located, observed and ranged through a single device.
This is particularly useful when judging distance across open terrain where visual estimation can be difficult, especially at night.
Ambidextrous One-Handed Design
The TD635LS features a symmetrical, ambidextrous housing, allowing comfortable operation for both left- and right-handed users.
Its ergonomic control arrangement is designed to allow commonly used functions to be accessed with one hand while maintaining a secure grip on the monocular.
Fingertip Focus Control
A compact focusing roller allows the image focus to be quickly adjusted with a simple finger movement.
The design enables precise focus changes without requiring significant changes to hand position, making it easier to transition between subjects at different distances while scanning.
1440×1080 AMOLED Display
The Guide TD635LS features a large 0.49-inch 1440×1080 AMOLED display, providing a high-resolution view of the thermal image.
The display works with the 640×512 thermal detector and ApexVision processing to provide a detailed and comfortable viewing experience during extended observation.
Multiple thermal palettes are available, including White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot and Sepia, allowing the image presentation to be adapted to different environments and user preferences.
A -6 to +6 diopter adjustment provides additional flexibility for individual eyesight requirements.
Up to 10 Hours Battery Runtime
The TD635LS is powered by a single replaceable 18650 rechargeable battery, providing up to 10 hours of operating time.
The replaceable battery design also provides additional flexibility for extended field use, allowing spare compatible batteries to be carried when longer operating periods are required.
USB-C power supply support provides another convenient option for powering the device.
Video & Audio Recording
The Guide TD635LS supports both video and audio recording, allowing thermal observations to be captured directly through the monocular.
This provides a convenient way to save thermal footage from the field without requiring a separate recording device.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
Built-in Wi-Fi hotspot functionality allows the TD635LS to connect wirelessly with compatible external devices.
Wireless connectivity provides additional options for supported image transmission, sharing and device functionality.
IP67 Weather Protection
With an IP67 protection rating, the TD635LS is designed for use in demanding outdoor environments where exposure to dust, moisture and changing weather conditions may occur.
The monocular has a specified operating temperature range of -20°C to 50°C, providing versatility across a wide range of environmental conditions.
